How ToFollow Your Dreams in 5 Easy Steps

This year was my year to Dream BIG! I wrote a letter to God asking him to help me find the courage and outlet to quit my job and move to New York. On the paper I wrote, “I want to live in New York by Jan 2016.” Well who would have known just 6 months after I wrote that letter God would allow the road to unfold to make my dreams to come true! The road wasn’t easy. I went through a lot to get here, but God made a way. If you ask for things with the right intentions, God will open doors! I’m proof it works!

Step 1.  Decide

For me this was the HARDEST step! Sometimes it’s still the hardest step for me to take when I’m thinking about a new idea or which path to take in life. I am such a planner that I often think so much, I talk myself right out of a great idea or plan. However, if you don’t make your mind up to go for it no matter what, it won’t happen. Then your dream is just an idea. So get a firm idea, decide, then to go for it!

Step 2. Pray
I’m a firm believer that whatever your religion is or whoever you believe in, the power of the universe will open doors for you if you ask. Your intentions have be right of course but, I do believe that anything is possible.  Also, you want to make sure God (whoever you believe in) is a part of your plan, they will be the strength you need to get you through the hard times. Lean on him and he will guide your steps.

Step 3. Plan
Planning for me comes naturally. I think sometimes I can plan better than I execute! LOL In all seriousness, if you don’t have a plan for your idea you may go in circles making mistakes, when you don’t have to. Spend time doing research. Seek out people with the knowledge you need to make your plan happen (mentors). Get a solid plan under your belt and remember plans change so stay flexible.

Step 4. Manage Your Time Wisely
I think I could write a whole book on this step alone. I myself have been guilty of what they call “time wasting activities”. Social media being my worst enemy. Don’t get me wrong social media is a very good tool to use however, too much of it can be a bad thing. So try your best to eliminate any “time wasters” you can.

Step 5. Don’t ever ever ever give up!

No matter what anyone says, how many bad days you have, or who tells you otherwise, God placed your dreams in your heart for a reason! He didn’t give them to anyone else, so it’s normal if people don’t understand and that’s okay. However, protect your dreams with all your heart and keep trying. You may have to start over, and over, and over! You may have to rework your plan, find another way, even take a step back and have a seat for a minute. NO matter what, NEVER GIVE UP! You can do it!

I hope my tips were helpful!? Please leave a comment and let me know what things you’re doing to follow your dreams! I will be your personal supporter! Lol  If you know someone that may be able to use these words of encouragement feel free to share this post! Right now… do it! LOL

Don’t forget to keep God first! I love you and have a blessed week!

Your More Than Enough

You are Enough

Never let anyone make you feel like your less than. God made you perfect. Just the way he intended. If someone isn't satisfied with who you are, what you look like, or what you give to the world, then thats their loss. You are worth someone making you feel like you are perfect. Maybe not in a realistic way, but perfect to them. Never let anyone feel like your less than. Your perfect and if they don't see it, maybe they aren’t worth being with you.

Be Blessed,

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?!?!?

Hey my Loves!!! I’m so sorry I haven't written anything in almost two months!!! I have been writing for another Blog called Georgia’sJuice.com and have totally neglected my own. But, I need to start back. Not because I have a million people who count on my posts, but for me. To sort out my thoughts and maybe help someone else out along the way. It’s kinda crazy how I’ve felt the most lost when I wasn't writing. Maybe this is my way to get out of my own head (which is my constant struggle daily!) and really get a full grasp on what it is I want and I need. Well my life has been crazy in my head, but pretty blessed in real life. I have been excepted into FIDM: The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (I’ll write about that more later), which I’m extremely excited about!  I’ve also met someone new! He’s pretty great so far, but only time will tell. I’m very excited about my future but God is making me take things a day at a time. Which I need to anyway but It can be a tad frustrating; I’m a planner at heart but you can't plan everything. God has the ultimate plan. Well, my loves I don't plan to take this long to write a blog post again, but I’m human and I tend to let things get in my way at times, but I will try to keep my writing more consistent. Spread love, and happy SUNDAY!!!

Be Blessed

Forget Fear!

Well my Loves,...it has been about  a week since I sent a post from the slopes. LOL.  Today I want to speak on fear and why fear sucks!!! One thing I learned is that if you let your fears overcome you, you will be stuck in one position; in life. I’m not a big fan of being complacent or allowing my self to settle. If I feel that I can do better, or there is something greater out there for me then I tend to chase it or change it; whether it’s a job or a personal relationship. If I know I'm not the happiest I could be I tend to subconsciously search everywhere looking for the missing piece. Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful for all of my blessing and opportunities. As a young adult I have been very blessed to not have to move back home and struggle. However, there is something missing in my life. And I’m on a journey to find it. ASAP. By the time I'm 30, I want to be in the career of my dreams, or at least working on it. I feel if God plants a seed in your heart or mind, listen to it. Don't be afraid to at lease try. I know, easier said than done right? But just try, take baby steps in order to find your way. It will all come together in the end.

Write me and let me know some of your fears and dreams. I would love to hear them.

God Bless

Snow Peak

Hello Great People,

Well I am in writing all the way from Kansas City, Kansas. I spent yesterday on the slopes of Snow Peak teaching myself how to snowboard.  I also took advantage of the tubbing lanes they had. It was a great experience! It was super cold, but it was worth the trip!

The biggest lesson on this trip so far was about Acceptance. The Great Oprah Winfrey always says, "If someone shows you who they are believe them". This changed my life and how I looked at any potential relationship, whether it's personal or business. Taking a closer look at who that person is in that moment, space, and time. Not an idea of their potential (which is your unwavering hope for who they could be) or what you think they will become. Meet them right where they are in that moment. They are who they are, not what you want them to be. In a personal situation I tend to ask myself, "Can I love this person, right now, in this moment, flaws and all?" No ones perfect, and everyone has flaws but can you deal with them is the question.

I think the key to any relationship is finding someone who you are able to love through the bad. Its easy to love someone when everything is great, but to putting up with the bad is the true test.  I never feel like someone should except being mistreated or being cheated on. I understand things happen however, no one should except crumbs of someones love, you deserve the whole cake. It takes time and patience, friendship, and respect.

So my advice is to love people for who they are in that moment, fight through the bad, to find the good and finally, never settle for the crumbs. You deserve someones best.  I hope you all have a great day and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Be Blessed!

They go with absolutely everything and they are always in style. I'm always excited to see what the new trends are for spring, so while I wait on the Spring Issue of People Style Watch (my favorite magazine by the way) my wardrobe is very simple. I hope you like!

Top: Rainbow
Shirt: Forever 21 (old)
Shoes:Payless
Watch: Fossle
Pearls:(a gift from my mommy)
Sunglasses: Steve Madden
